Brother Nick Pijoan and Brother Abram Rosales will once again share duties in leading our parish Advent Quiet Day on Saturday, Dec. 13.

The topic is appropriate for Advent: Mary, the Mother of God. "This is a time to live and reflect on the genesis and birth of Jesus," says Brother Nick. "A time to get to know his mother, Mary, and how the advent in her life is an invitation for you to experience an advent into your own life."

The morning will begin with coffee, snacks and a time of opening fellowship at 9 a.m., to be followed by periods of instruction, contemplation and silence. We'll close about noon with a contemplative Eucharist led by Mother Becky.
